Various mediums, for me, are different vessels for expressing a truth through language. I believe in the ability of words to engage, enlighten, provoke, and inspire. As an educator, I share my passion for language and help others find their voice through words. My experiences have taught me that our truths are already inside of us, that certain events can reveal these truths, and that through practice and awareness, we can learn how to express our truths in ways that communicate them as clearly as we know them to be inside of us. I’ve been writing for almost 20 years, and every day I have gotten closer and closer to this truth.

It took me over a decade to realize that on the Internet, it’s not exactly clear what I do. Actually, even in real life, it can sometimes be a challenge for me to explain my work. One of the reasons behind creating Spiritrials (a solo play that I narrated in spoken word verse, acted through five characters, and scored with a soundtrack I released as a hip-hop album) was to finally have a project that contained my multitudes. Now, finally, I have a website that is capable of that as well. I hope you can appreciate all that I have to offer but at least now, I’m sure you’ll be able to find what you’re looking for – D
